We talked for 2 1/2 hours (Update from interview thread)
Update from interview thread:

Thanks so much for all your good thoughts. The interview was amazing. The job was perfect. I think that the fact that we spoke for 2 1/2 hours is a pretty good sign. I really don't think the interview could have possibly gone better, short of being hired on the spot.

He said he'd be in touch for a second interview so I could meet the rest of the senior team.

I think I have an excellent chance of being hired.

I'll keep you posted.

That IS a really good sign right? E.D.'s don't generally spend 2 1/2 hours talking to job candidates that they're not inclined to hire?

3. Wow! That went well.
I got a call from a place I applied at today. However, I returned their call, and they haven't returned my returned call. :silly:

I'll call them again tomorrow morning.

Good luck!

6. I'd say that definitely qualifies as a good sign!!!
:woohoo:

My only suggestion would be to follow up with a nice, hand-written thank-you note to the person who interviewed you, thanking them for the opportunity to meet and talk...and all the time they took to answer your questions, etc... Believe me, something like that goes a long way to making another good impression.

Good luck!!

7. If you have not done so already, write a follow up/thank you letter.
Thank him for the opportunity and consideration.

Reiterate you interest and why you are a good fit.

Close with a comment that you are looking forward to meeting the other team members.

Good luck.
