1. That's very funny you should create poll on this topic today, of all

days, b/c I considered doing the VERY SAME thing earlier, as a matter of fact. I've been having some problems with my hip and my chiropractor suggested doing 4 one-on-one sessions with a Pilates instructor to help me out with some structural exercises. He thinks once I do the four sessions, I'll learn enough to be able to come home and do the mat work on my own.

I've been to one Pilates class at my gym before and was truly surprised at how challenging it was. It was like a really INTENSE form of yoga, is probably the best way to put it.

I'll see how it goes for a one-on-one thing. I know I'm not drawn to using all those medieval looking props they use. I'm more into the simple solitary mat thing.

My whole family swears by it. My mom is so into it that she even bought a reformer and a cadillac (two pieces of equipment) for home. :thumbsup:
