From the Files of matcom news: Mutiny on the QM2
 Why do I find this so funny?

http://www.worldhum.com/weblog/item/mutiny_on_the_queen_mary_2_20060123/

The AP is reporting that some passengers cruising aboard the Queen Mary 2 are threatening to remain on the ship at its next port of call to protest a last-minute itinerary change.

Cunard, which owns and operates the ship, apparently had to cut three stops—Barbados, St. Kitts and Salvador, Brazil—out of its Latin American tour because of a problem with a propulsion motor. A Cunard spokesperson said QM2’s next stop will be Thursday in Rio de Janeiro.

*** Ooooh! and it includes an interview with "A Defiant Queen Mary passenger"... :hi:

3. I've been on cruises where the itinerary changed
and it was no big deal. Anyone that cruises often knows the weather, ship problems, etc.. can affect the cruise. But then I'm not a rich bitch who expects the world to revolve around me either

4. My parents missed Vladivostok on their last cruise.
The ship hit a fishing net and disabled a propellor. To top it off, the seas were too rough for tender boats to take people to shore.

Hey, shit happens - the world isn't perfect. Maybe Cunard can offer them something for their troubles.

7. I guess the rich think they deserve to be able to control everything.
:eyes:

If they get obstinate, then I hope Cunard tells them to piss off.
