I have to do 50 questions for my chemistry homework tonight |
|
Granted they are relatively easy but as the semester progresses, they will no doubt get harder. This kind of busy work is bullshit, I don't have the time nor the will to sit down and solve 50 chemistry problems. You would think a select number of problems...not ALL of them would be sufficient to get the point across. I feel like I'm back in high school again doing work for work's sake. I don't even want to take this damn class but I want to graduate in May, so I guess I'm stuck with this crap!

1. i took physics, so i didn't have to take chem |
|
but god i hate busywork. luckily, i'm in my 500-700 classes now, so there's less bullshit; most of the grades are just the exams

3. I took physics last semester... |
|
and it was surprisingly easy...I guess this is what you get for putting off dreaded classes til your senior year. But if this professor thinks I'm going to eat, breathe and sleep chemistry, he's got another thing coming. Even if I get a C in the class (the minimum grade I can get for it to count for my major) I'll still be walking summa cum laude in the spring, however I'd like to hold onto my honor once final grades are tallied.

2. wow, that's odd for a college class. |
|
Who's going to take the time to grade 50 problems from every student in the class?

One can always hope the TAs think grading the problems is just as much a waste of time as doing them. If I were a chem TA, I'd be willing to let a lot slide if it meant finishing my job faster!

that this "busy work" you're doing is rote enough to be useful later on?
