9. Bullshit! Everyone can dance! |
|
I hate that people who might otherwise want to move to the beat are embarassed to do so because they don't dance like everyone else.

24. Well if you just don't like to dance... |
|
that's different. :)
I was thinking more of people who feel the groove, but are too worried what others might think to get it on. Then again, maybe that's their problem. Dance like nobody's watching, right? ;)

18. Everyone has it in them, it's whether they let their inhibitions go or not |
|
I thought this until I saw a friend of mine - she couldn't even clap to the beat of the music.
So now I say "everyone but one person..."
:D

Yeah, I know ... but not knowing how to keep time doesn't mean you don't like to dance ... it's just like not being able to sing... it's still fun to sing, even if you can't. :)
Ever watch any of those old beach movies with Annette and whatshisname? Man... NONE of those kids could keep time for shit!

Look at them! Just look at them! throwing their hips this way, that way while I, my muscles, stone, the marrow of my spine, plaster, my back supported by decorated paper, stand here as goofy as a Dumb Dora Lord, if I can't dance, No one shall.
The song of the Wallflower Order....

22. Dancing, for me, is Other........ |
|
It is a physical way to enjoy music, for all ages....
It is also a wonderful way to simulate sex.....
It's a way to get to know your partner without sex......
Dancing releases endorphins which make you feel good...and it increases your feelings of well-being...
Of course, I love dancing!
