The hippy movement is dead.
It was buried in San Francisco and has been replaced by free men.

3. I think...
Donald Rumsfeld is giving the president his daily briefing.
He concludes by saying: "Yesterday, 3 Brazilian soldiers were killed."

"OH NO!" the President exclaims. "That's terrible!"

His staff sits stunned at this display of emotion, nervously watching as the President sits, head in hands.

Finally, the President looks up and asks, "How many is a brazillion?"

5. Isn't it spelled "Hippie?"
Either way, to call liberals "hippies" is a totally ineffectual insult due to the word being encased in the cultural amber of a certain decade. It's like calling Union members "Wobblies."

Sure, there's granola types and bearded far-lefty types and tye-dye wearing pot smokers still around, but "Hippie" is not the word I'd use to describe those kinds of people. "Jagoffs," maybe. "Walking stereotypes" is another epithet that fits.

6. Bush made us cool again
I may not have the hair anymore but I wear a peace symbol and march more then ever. Oh, and all the young folk in our extended family think me and the missus are way cool much to the chagrin of their repuke parents. Now that is sweet.
