After we had been together for a while I got rid of my honey's boxers and "tighty whities" (ugh!). Now all he wears is boxer briefs. He also says he wishes he had discovered them sooner because he finds them more comfy!

I am superstitious, and for some reason in HS I started a ritual where on important days for luck I wouldn't wear any underwear. Somehow or another I got to liking it so I rarely wore any for years. Although I wear boxers most of the time nowadays. Waaaayyy too much info all around, I know.

seems like a lot of the guys I know who are let's say, in midlife, like the briefs, the X-ers like the boxer -briefs and the younger guys like the boxers. At least that's what it looks like, since the younger guys don't seem to care if their underwear shows even when they are clothed.... :D

Just sayin' and just curious....you can tell I don't have a lot to do today. The kid is home sick and there is little work to do.... other than housework that I am, apparently, not doing....

except I don't know that I personally dig them. In fact, other than washing quite a few pair, I spend very little time pondering the question of what underwear men prefer.

65. 36 here (Gen-X), and I've been a boxers guy since I was 18

and I started buying my own underwear (and started having girlfriends who cared about the kind of undies I wore). Most other guys I know are also boxer guys too.

The boxer briefs seem more popular amongst the younger, 20something guys than they do among the Xers. Just my observation of course, your mileage may vary.
