On this day in television...
January 26, 1979: "Hello, Larry" debuted. The spinoff of "Diff'rent Strokes" was a bomb for Maclean Stevenson.

I had a crush on Kim Richards.

1. A shame because I liked Hello Larry.
Lots of shows I liked were cancelled. Maybe it's my fault.

2.  I remember that and I second on Kim Richards.
Maclean Stevenson was so much better on MASH. Col Blake was da man. :D

3. Oh My God
I had a SERIOUS freakin' crush on Kim Richards, too; the whole cute tomboy w/ the long blonde hair thing just drove me insane. Did you ever see the film she was in w/ James Spader (an early role) and Jim Carroll (?!!)called Tuff Turf, I think? That's the last thing I ever saw her in, though..

4. I remember ads for Tuff Turf
but that's about it. (Jim Carrll, "Catholic Boy" was in Tuff Turf?!)

Except for Hello Larry, I mainly remember her for the Disney movies, particularly No Deposit No Return.

Oh, it's late. I must turn in. Have a good one! :hi:

He played "himself" and played w/ his band in the club scene; he had a short scene w/ Spader right before he played..

Goodnight!:)

6. TIA!!!!!!!!! I way had a crush on Kim Richards!
From Escape to Witch Mountain days, on of the most important films of my young life. It taught me how to daydream and expect things to just happen to me without me having to work for them! But in a good way...

She's Paris Hilton's aunt, you know.
