No LOST thread? Ok, Here is today's LOST thread
Liked it? Hated it?

Me? I didn't like much the last epizode. I didn't learn anything new... Charlie is turning into a major disappointement... Locke should have destroyed all the statues. Oh, and I think Hurley might get lucky soon :)

1. I thought last night kinda sucked myself. It looks as though
it is about to get good again though! Charlie, I think, is experiencing something weird with the island. I don't think he is using, though, I think he would have. Something really strange is going on with Locke!

3. "hated it!"
wtf? Locke was my hero until last night - he just became this f-ing creepy guy all of the sudden! What was with the weird shots of him just staring menacingly into the distance. Or why did he pause when he looked in to his bags when talking to claire?

And then they just made Charley turn in to some lunatic. Last nights episode did not fit at all. Lock and Charley were way out of character. They seemed to have forgotten all about Claire's own 'dreams' of the baby getting harmed. Also, the fact that Charley defended Claire and the Baby's life multiple times! If they haven't learned 'anything is possible' on the island yet, then they never will.

Worst episode of lost by far. In fact, the first one I would call 'bad'

4. Locke gaves signs of being some sort of anti-christ or something
I think he will be using those statues later to manipulate Charley.

5. creepy episode, but not in a good way
plus I kept freaking out over the fact that Charlie is engaged to Kate (well, Dominic Monaghan is engaged to Evangeline Lily)

7. Totally Out Of Place
Yeah, that episode was just TOTALLY out of place for so many reasons:

- Michael is still missing (nobody cares?)
- What about making the 'army'?
- Locke is a mean bastard (out of nowhere)
- Charlie is psychotic and delusional (out of nowhere)
- Nobody making a big deal about the fact that they 'met' the others
- Charlie didn't mention that Locke had more reasons not to be trusted than he did (the Hatch? Boone? Sayid?)
- Claire doesn't give charlie any credit for saving her (and her baby's) ass multiple times (and getting hung from a tree and almost dying in the process)

9. I know nothing about heroin, so I have a question.....
Is there ANY possible beneficial use for it? medicinal, etc? Just trying to figure out if there was any non-maniacal reason for him to have kept it.

11. Uses for the Heroin
Morphine and many of the major high-end painkillers used in medicine are derivatives of Opium which is also where Heroin comes from. So I could see saving some as medical use (like when Boone was in severe pain after his accident - a little heroin could be used as a painkiller even though I'm guessing it isn't the preferred choice.

I'm also thinking that the heroin could be used as a 'weapon' ie - put a little in the food/drink etc if they were trying to take down someone (or the others).

So there could be uses

14. I was saying that the whole time.
Plus, on an island you don't "destroy" anything. Everything has a use and a purpose and can be recycled.

10. I could barely stay awake through last night's episode
I realize that the gimmick with the TV show along with being on a creepy island is that each week we have a flashback of one of the main characters.

That being said it just seemed like we were going on a new tangent with the addition of the tailies, meeting of the others and Michael and Jack wanted to form an army it just seemed that Charlie/Claire and his little issue with the Virgin Mary Heroin containers was kinda low priority for this weeks episode.

Obvious it did show that Locke is becoming more of a control freak. He took the drugs but I'm sure he kept them in case he needs to 'deal' with Charlie. Plus I also thought that Jack kept the statues because most major medical painkillers are a relative of Heroin so the drugs could be used in a variety of ways not just with Charlie but for medical use and even as a weapon I suppose.

But like I said - the episode was boring. I would have rather they did a show about Libby and her background (poor little rich girl is what I'm thinking) and a continuation of the Army that Jack & Ana-Lucia want to build.

Plus they have this amazing Love Quadrangle they are building with Jack/Kate/Sawyer/Ana-Lucia that should have more focus.

13. Bleh! Sorry but who cares
If it is leading somewhere then okay but there seem to be far more interesting stories to follow.

I think Locke is keeping the statues so he can use it to keep Charlie under wraps (keep him hooked while he, Locke, goes after Momma ;-) or is he after the baby????) or he will use it to make everyone sick/use the heroin on the Others.

Okay see I promised myself I would quit guessing about that show.

15. Where the hell has Sayeed been?
I think Eko is the new "shaman". Locke has turned decidedly evil. I think it will be revealed that he is an agent of the "security device". That guy was never right. Eko and Locke will fight for control of Claire and her baby or at least that was what happened last night with Eko finally winning out. What was the deal with everybody shunning Charlie? They were all a bunch of assholes when that happened. I mean Charlie even said it, with all the crazy shit that has happened on that island, that they all have witnessed, you can't give somebody the benefit of the doubt? Come on. Jack I think has lost his effectiveness in being a leader, which I don't think he ever had or wanted.
