1. How about this idea?
1500 lb moose vs 1981 Chevy Chevette. Moose limps away, gets treated and released when healed. Chevete is totalled and junked, driver ends up in worse shape than moose.

2. Yes. Yes I have.
I collect skulls, so if I see something good by the side of the road I'm not shy about pulling over.

I found a bobcat once in texas that looked like it had been run over by a semi. I will spare you the details, but it was REALLY disgusting.

6. Sounds like the gator hit by a semi
here in SC. On the right side of the verge is the tail and hind legs. Stretching across 4 other lanes is a red and green smear. Really yucky.

9. Lemme tell ya...
the skin of the beast was in one piece.

Half of the innards were coming out one side, half were coming out the other. :puke:

3. Unfortunately, yes
Two horses + one semi = very horrible mess on the road.

4. I'm from Wisconsin
whose state animal is the badger, and all the badgers I've ever seen were either mascots or road kill.

5. There are currently three dead deer down the road...
looks like a group of them got killed or one after the other they decided to test how busy the road was....it is really pathetic...they aren't mangled but...three of them piled up is kinda sad...

8. The worst road kills I've seen are amphibians
They are nearly impossible to positively identify. Scraping them off the pavement is challenging, too.
