Something tells me this might not be met with laurels and hearty handshakes.

7. Interesting that there is damned little "Detroit Iron" in a current NASCAR

Nascar hasnt had any REAL Detroit built cars since this guy was racing:

Me and Ned Jarret, last week in Chicago. Jarret could easily be considered one of the founding fathers of modern NASCAR racing but in his day they actually raced STOCK CARS. Modified production cars that anyone could buy. Just try and buy a 700 hp, 4 speed manual, real wheel drive Chevy Lumina or Monte Carlo.

Stock cars my puffy pink arse.

And i work in the business, BTW.

Let Toyota come.

It will be interesting to watch those Japanese kick some southern ass. It will take a while, but they'll do it. They will, of course, hire some good ol boys to run the team, no doubt.

PS...yes...i know my shirt isnt straight and doesnt meet my belt buckle. I feel pretty stupid knowing i had that photo taken looking like that. And yes, that is the truck i drive behind us.
