What type of music?
What type of music are you listening to right now, if any at all? Any specfic artist or a range of different ones?

I've been getting real into the launchcast on Yahoo! Messenger while I'm chatting with friends. I'm listening to some older 60's -70's Country music right now which is a good change from what passes as music on FM radio now days.

7. Spent all day at work listening to heavy metal blasting loud and
continuously all day long or did I already say that because I don't think think I can remember my name right now or if I might be repeating myself but I'm sure I remembered to wear my coat home because I'm still alive and listening to the silence in my house now but if that cat walks across the floor again he's going in the basement for the rest of the night and it might have been thrash rock.

But my brains are still trying to ooze out my nose. I keep snorting them back in and concentrate on not killing anything.

on edit, I left at 11:45pm and told my boss to finish my job. He didn't even ask why.

9. "Art Rock", Heavy Metal and Punk
Art - Kate Bush, Tori Amos, Diamanda Galas (Plague Mass was a masterwork- you can't listen to it.... but if you try.... it rips you apart)

Metal - Metallica, Megadeath.

Punk - Sex Pistols, Plasmatics, The Clash, X, and especially Siouxsie ( she started out punk, invented goth, and moved gracefully into pop)

Khash.

14. Various today
The Faders - Plug & Play

U2 - How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb

Mandi Perkins - Broken Window

All three albums are different - only thing in common is that Molly from the Faders has her own individual guitar style, as does The Edge from U2.

16. I'm listening to Muse...not sure what they'd be categorized as.
Edited on Fri Jan-27-06 07:00 PM by primate1
But my usual soundtrack is punk, post-punk, hardcore, post-hardcore, or some other random subgenre of the sort.
