Something amusing from yesterday

I was driving home yesterday from an appointment, and I saw the oddest thing. Over last Monday, we had a lot of snow (again!) and in front of this one house, someone had built a snowman.

Except that instead of three balls of snow making up the snowman, there were only two--the top piece for the head was missing. I thought perhaps that it had gotten knocked off accidentally, but lo and behold--there was red coloring--from what, I can only guess, all over the top ball that was there. It finally dawned on me--someone (the builder of the snowman) obviously only built the two balls, and deliberately left off the head. The red stuff was supposed to be "blood" and the snowman had been "decapitated!"

It's slightly gruesome seeing a decapitated snowman, but I got a laugh from it all the way home. :)
