NPR just doesn't outdo the classic oldies station. Damn it. |
|
Oh how I wish it did. The maintenance guy has been scraping paint off something in the hall since last week and it's making me INsane. The sound of scraping scraping scraping makes my head feel like it's full of TV static. Also, he's blasting the oldies station which seems to have about 3 songs in rotation, and one of them is "Brandy, you're a fine girl, what a GOOD wife, you would be..." or however the hell that song goes. (I'm sure I'll have it memorized by the end of the day).
I forgot my cd at home today so now I'm trying to override the sounds of the lobby but all I have is NPR in my arsenal. It's not cuttin' it. Especially since I can't stand the show that comes on at 10. Now I'll have to blast the show I don't like in a feeble attempt to cover up the other sounds. Boo to that.
I am SO happy today is Friday. SO so so happy.
As always, thanks for the venting opportunity. I feel better already.

2. Good plan, except he's crazy. |

Like, CA-razy. And I'm not one to rile up a crazy person. That's just askin' for trouble.
I just need to make it until noon when the good, loud, rock and roll show comes on the college station. Then, it's on.
