As of today, Phoenix has tied the record for the number of consecutive days with no rainfall. Tomorrow we set a new record.
It's been so dry I've had to water all my cacti to keep them alive.
The weather in this area is unusual in that we have two wet seasons each year with little to no rain in between. Late Dec to early Feb brings our winter rains and mid-July to early Sept brings the monsoon. We get some really awesome thunderstorms at that time. But yesterday I heard the local weathermen speculating that we may not see any rain til this summer. Boy howdy, I hope they're wrong!
