Spurs/Lakers tonight

I'm looking for Robert Horry to get some big minutes and do something with them. YOu know how a guy always seems to burn his former team. The Lakers have no bench. I wonder how the will survive an 82 games season and 2 or 3 7 game series. Malone is 40 and Payton is what 36?
These guys arn't spring chickens anymore and my feel is that eventually they will run out of gas.

1. Yeah, baby!
I hope the Spurs start coming together a little more. 8 new guys are hard to integrate. Pop's not happy with the defense. Maybe tonight, they'll put it together!

3. What's up Davo....

Everything still a go for tommorrow night? I may not make it until around 8:00 pm. If you and Lazarus (and anyone else) are up to it, we could go find a sports bar somewhere and watch the Golden state Game after dinner.

4. Everything's a go...
...I'm carpooling down with some other folks. I've also caught the creeping crud, so I'll probably head back fairly early. But, I'll hang with y'all for a while. :-)

2. My feeling is different
Though I like yours. They are getting long in the tooth, aren't they?

My intial thoughts, and I still stand by it, is that there is too much ego on that team. Sure, there are some huge names on that team, but names used to being THE big name on their teams. Also used to scoring the lions share of points too. How will the older additions handle the nights when Kobe decides he needs to make the highlight reel and drops 40 points because he didn't want to pass the ball?

I also hope Tim reminds everybody that he is the best player in the league again. They always seem to forget about him when talking about the best. I guess he's not "thug" enough to market.
