2. I would like too
I have been considering trading in my 2001 CRV for a Element (probably a 05 model if they are still around).

I like the inside and floor. It is very durable. There is lots of space in back, it can be used as an camping tent with the seats up.

Consumer Reports only recommends the side air bag models due to a weak side impact crash.

4. Driving one this weekend, actually
The CRV and the Element are basically the same vehicle under the hood. The only difference is the body.

I'll probably buy one within the next year. At first I thought they were butt-ugly, but they kind of grow on you.

9. Haven't looked at any Pontiacs or Buicks lately have you?
Probably haven't seen a Scion xB either.

Hell, next to the Aztec, the Element looks like a Ferrari.

7. I love mine.
Drives great, runs great, handles great, has lots of room, is easy to clean thanks to the well designed interior. . . . just a great vehicle all around.

10. Not really. The only complaint I have is the same I'd have with any

tall vehicle, that being it gets blown around a bit in high winds.

I have plenty of power for passing, etc. The all wheel drive seem sto work very well in the snow and slush. I haven't yet had a chance to take it up into mountains to see how well it does with climbing but I hear good things from other owners.

I've only had it a month or so, but I can't complain at all.

I'd love to see a 6 cylinder version, but I think that would up the price too much. It comes in at a GREAT price point right now, and if you start adding features or mucking around with it, it'll just up the cost.

Once you get a look at how huge the interior is, you'll love the thing. The rear passengers have enough leg room for Shaq, and when you fold up or remove the rear seats, you could fit a washing machine back there.

Sure it looks like a toaster, but hey, who doesn't like toast? :P

If you have any specific questions, I'd be happy to answer them, and you can also go to http://www.elementownersclub.com/ which is a large forum exclusively dedicated to the Element, lots of knowledgeable folks over there.
