give my then puppy were huge, I remember well the fun of getting those pills down her for 3 weeks.

of tablet antibiotics. The first round was 1.5 tablets, twice a day; the most recent round was 2 tablets, twice a day. They were small and no problem at all, once we found out that they were specially flavored like cat snacks. But he _loathes_ his worm pills that he gets twice a year. :(

I've enjoyed getting lots of full night's of sleep. I really needed 'em. The stress factor around here got to me so in kindness to myself and the world I decided to take a break until I could grab-a-grip. I did everything I could and it was just a matter of waiting until everything fell into place as I hoped it would. I still have a few irritating months ahead but I'll have it all wrapped up in time for Spring.

This winter hasn't been as bad as it used to be.
It's taken years to understand what was triggering my depression other than seasonal light deficiency. Now I can honestly attach most of my feelings to anniversary sadness and it's becoming easier for me. My mother walked out of my life when I was 18 months old. The anniversary of that separation is next month. She must have been going through a living hell for months knowing she was about to abandon her first born child. It took me 50 years to stop being pissed-off at her. She never called or tried to contact me. I was so angry that I refused to admit how much I missed having my mother's love as I grew up. Then one day ~ I realized that she must have missed me too and I started to feel sorry for her. She would be 81 by now. I've often wondered if I have any brothers or sisters out there. I don't even have a picture of her. I never understood why I had to be this strong.

There is no sense in hiding it. I was so angry for such a long time. When my mother left my dad sent me to live with my bedridden aunt. I wasn't allowed to go out and play with the neighborhood kids. I was her companion until she passed away in the Fall when I was 9. This is another factor in my seasonal depression because I moved in with my father and my first stepmother for the second time. That was a horror story too.

I look at things very differently than most people do for a good reason. I guess that's why I have become a warrior woman.
