Has anyone read Stephen King's newest "Cell"? |
|
Best he's done in a while, but that's beside the point.
This book is just loaded with snide anti-Dubya stuff. Not overtly, but very subtle stuff, I'm enjoying the hell out of it. For instance (and I'll paraphrase here), they're discussing a plan of action and the main characters thought process is "He thought of telling XXXX that his plan was as well thought out as George W. Bush's Iraq invasion but thought better of it." (Those aren't the exact words, but you get the picture).
And for anybody who loathes cell phones, you'll like this book . . . that's the extent of any spoilers I'll give.

Starts out pretty gory, but I'll be buying the book soon.
