2. Hmmm, MissMille, are you bored or just having a semi-bad day?
Fortunately, I'm not often bored, but when I am, that's when I get in the state you're in.

4. I'm bored, but I shouldn't be
there's lots of stuff I should be doing, but I just can't find the ambition.

5. I've been in that conundrum too -- it sucks
Sometimes I can get out of it by just focusing on one thing, and taking the first step toward getting it done. But that mindset is a bit difficult to get out of, I know. Sort of like being stuck in mental quicksand. I hope you can find your way out of it.

7. This is the 1st weekend I haven't had to be at a school event for my son
all month, so a lot of the household stuff has been neglected. It's a beautiful day, I should go out for a walk and enjoy it, but I'm holding off because I should do my chores, but I'm not doing those either.

I'm a mess! lol

11. All right, Missy -- I'm ordering you to go take a walk!
Okay, maybe not ordering you. But that might be just the thing to kick you out of the quicksand!

:hi:

13. well i'll offer a suggestion if you really want it
my husband has been on the atkins plan for abt a month for his blood pressure and glucose issues, w. amazing results, since i'm perforce on it as well i have no appetite

i just wrapped up half a juicy steak w. real roquefort cheese melted on it because i couldn't eat it all

i don't know why but it really seems to take away the appetite, apparently you need carbohydrate to trigger some hunger signals

i'm going to add more fruit if the weight gets dangerously low but so far i'm fine (just had my own check-up) and husband has seen vast improvement so gotta keep doing what i'm doing

14. thanks
but this really isn't about hunger.... it's about looking for a way to get out of doing the chores, and I think it's a little about being lonely.
