(for any authorities who may be paying attention) but it does really steam me that tobacco is a legitimate, upstanding, multibillion-dollar industry while pot is the Evil Weed. The former makes me much more cranky than the latter.

My friends who used to know where to get it gradually moved away or got "responsible", and I stopped going to pagan gatherings in mid 90s when my son became too much of a handful to take with any more, and I am SUCH a nerd that I'm sure that anybody would think I am an undercover cop... Beige trench-coat, short haircut, sensible shoes, thick glasses... I just don't look at all like the old hippie I actually am.

So I just remember it fondly and send my check to NORML every year.

Sometimes I would really just like to smoke a joint. Last time I did was last year. And I won't discuss the circumstances or I will totally get this locked :evilgrin:

But I do miss it sometimes. I smoke and I drink. I take unbeleivable amounts of opiates every day for pain control. All much worse for my body than an occassional toke.

I just don't get it.
