Weird-ass new TV shows
Of course, they might not be that new but just new to me. Regardless, I've recently become aware of two extremely odd shows. One is a Saturday morning cartoon on the WB (or the CW or whatever the hell it is now) called Loonatics Unleashed. It's the Looney Tunes gang, more or less, in the future, with superpowers. Seriously. They all have different names but there's two rabbits, one male and one female, one duck, a Tasmanian devil, a roadrunner and a coyote (Tech E. Coyote, the only character name I remember and the only one obviously referencing Looney Tunes). I haven't been able to sit through as much as a minute of it, but just based on concept it strikes me as the worst cartoon idea since Scrappy Doo. Here's Wikipedia on it in case anybody's curious: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Loonatics_Unleashed

The other new bizarro world tv entry is called Cash Cab. Not surprisingly, it's yet another game show from Britain that's made the Atlantic crossing. It's... a game show in a cab. Honest! Seems crazy at best and insanely dangerous at worst, but that's the story. Here's the Discovery Channel's Cash Cab site; it will test your pop-up stopper: http://dsc.discovery.com/fansites/cashcab/cashcab.html Wikipedia has an entry for this show, too, but it appears to be mostly about the original British version.

So, feel free to share any weird new (or otherwise) shows you've come across.
