This is absolutely ridiculous! I have to rant about the weather.
It is the end of January. This is supposed to be wintertime. But my outside thermometer is reading 60 degrees in the shade, so it's probably 65 in the sun. I have all my windows open. I may as well be living back in South Florida. I am now living in North Georgia and winters here can get pretty cold. I hate hot weather. I don't want 60-some degrees in the middle of the winter. By 2 p.m., I will probably have to turn on my AC. Unbelievable.

To many of you in the North, I probably sound like a nut case, but I am a winter person. I love, love, love cold weather. I bitch like hell about the heat in the summer, but not in the winter. You can take just so many clothes off in the summer without being arrested for indecency. But at least in the winter, you can always layer clothes to stay warm.

1. Update. It is now 62 degrees in the shade.
Probably 70 in the sun. I hate this!! I want to wear sweaters, flannel, boots, jackets, etc. I don't want to feel that I am living back in South Florida.

3. It's the warmest winter
I've ever recalled in my life, and I'm a lifelong resident of Wyoming....go figure that there's "no scientific consensus that global warming is actually occurring."

12. I only like rain at night time. But hate having to drive in it.
80 degrees and yuck, I am sweating. Unfortunately, it gets well above that in the summer here. I take consolation that it will only last a few months. But it seems it is later and later in the year before the temperatures finally cool down. Oh, and there is no such thing as global warming, so says the Chimp in the White House.

9. We don't have too much winter scenery here in Georgia.
Occasionally, we have some snow, but it doesn't stick around too long. But I just checked weather report and the temperature will be 34 degrees tomorrow morning and then warming up to 61 in the afternoon. That sucks. Wear a jacket to work and then have to strip down to a short-sleeved top in the afternoon.

10. You are high
This has been a mild winter in Chicago. That said I have not played golf since beginning of November. It was 51 on Friday and I almost played. There have been years that I have played golf in all 12 months, but not 2006.

11. Upstate SC here
and we have been having a really bizarrely mild January. It is 60 degrees, here, too. And raining. It has been raining like a sonofabitch all month.

13. It was pushing 60 here Thursday and Friday
before our cold rain came today. Yes, rain and upper 30's in Minnesota in January.

14. RebelOne....I totally agree...I, too, am a winter person.
I am in St Louis and it's currently 55 degrees. Windows are open and the sun is shining. There has been very little snow this winter. We are almost six inches below normal for snowfall.

I LOATH summer absolutely LOATH it. I don't like summer clothes (or the lack thereof in far too many cases) and I hate being HOT.
