QC says he hadn't seen your post, so don't take it personally, but I think everyone knows what he was getting at: Posts that are totally meaningless to anyone who didn't see a particular show, and pretty much pointless to anyone who did. I find them annoying because they are so damn frustrating: Here's this hint that something interesting happened, and all I can do is keep coming back to the thread in hopes that someone will come along who's willing to take a minute or two to explain what it was.

For me, at least, cause where I am we get a lot of religious programming on Sunday morning. I am not sure that the local CBS affiliate even puts Face the Nation on at all. We do get Meet The Press, but later than most of the other folks on the DU. So when somebody comes on and says "That asshole just said the most ridiculous thing on FTN." I am totally lost.

That and I can never keep everybody's nicknames straight. It took me months to start automatically associating 'Tweety' with Chris Matthews. And that is pretty much the only one I can remember.
