1. They suck. Rain in January just isn't right.
Give me a real winter.

2. It has been in the 60s today. I hate it. I am a winter person.
I live in North Georgia. And this is unusual weather even for the South. At this time of the year, I would normally be running my gas furnace. I have not had to turn it on yet this winter. I have been using two small space heaters at night. Well, at least I'm saving on my gas bill.

3. It is kind of nice
to experience what most experience as spring/fall, two seasons virtually unknown in Texas. However, I do like to have winter though... I'd settle for a simple cold snap at this point. I am also not looking forward to the swarms of insects we are going to have to deal with come summer either.

4. I would love it if it didn't trigger my allergies
but this weather (TX) is kicking my ass. If I have to sign up for one more stupid box of sudafed, the police will probably beat down my door looking for a meth lab. :eyes:

5. I live in Iowa - so warm last night I couldn't sleep
Allergies kicking in miserably. Not getting my proper hibernation.
OTOH, the other side of the jet stream is way down in eastern Europe and they are have probably their coldest winter ever. The reason I mention this is that with global warming, the extremes are more extreme. We will get a killer winter soon enough.
