The tryptophan is wearing off.....

and I'm getting tanked up on my favorite replacement drug, vodka.
I really do love my family, even those that vote repeatedly republican, but my good will is wearing thin.
How can we come to grips with those rightwing family members that we have this love/hate relationship with that drive us nuts one minute and then makes us forget that they totally go against every grain and fiber of our being the next minute?
I'm slightly conflicted, but have decided to head for the safe harbor of drunkeness to try to forget that these people are diametrically opposed to every belief system I fight daily to defend.

I am assuming that my feelings on this subject are not alone.....
