Good Monday Morning, Everybody!
:donut::hi:
Welcome to a brand new work week and the Monday edition on the Early Morning Crew! :bounce: I hope you had a fun weekend! I had several things planned...and didn't do ANY of them. I had the weekend off and spent it hanging out here at home with Greekspeak and my two boys, Tony and Josephus.

Our General Manager at the store is on vacation this week, so all of her duties fall to me. That means, I'm going to be a busy boy at work for the next seven days. I'm looking forward to it, actually!

3. Good morning Clintmax
I had a great weekend. Saturday afternoon my friend came to my house. We baked and cooked and drank a bottle of wine. In the eveing we went out. First we wanted to go to a bar but ended it up in a club. Boy I tell you, eye candy all around us :9 We didn't know where to look first. We will be going there again.

Yesterday I had a chat with former MrWonderful, see my thread. I think my decision will be not to take him back.

47. I just got my W2 from my second job today
So now I can get to doing my taxes to see what I'm going to get. I can't recall exactly what I got back last year, though I believe it was a little over $200 combined. This year I have about $2500 in healthcare deductions and $170 in charitible donations, among other things, so that will help for this year.

13. Hi Clintmax! Good to see you!
We didn't do much of anything because MrG had to work. Saturday night, we played cards with PassingFair and her husband. Sunday, after MrG came home, we drove by the house that I am in love with and we are trying to purchase. It's not looking good though. It's a divorce deal and there is quite a bit of bitterness going on. :hi:

Have a great day!

16. Good Morning, MrsG!
:hi:
It's very good to see you too! Our General Manager went through the same thing...divorce deal with the house she and her husband were trying to buy...it was a mess for a while. The husband kept trying to sabotage the deal, threatening his soon to be ex-wife...in the end, it all worked out and they got the deal done, but they had to hire a real estate lawyer. You might think about THAT...he really helped them.

19. Thanks for the idea Clintmax! In dealing with this house, we've realized
what a small world it is. Friends of my father's are acquaintances with these people. The husband is very bitter because his wife left and took the kids and he was a family man (I think there may be something else involved, because courts rarely let one parent take the kids far away without good reason), and has said he won't agree to any offer because he'd rather see the home foreclose (they are in the redemption period) then see his wife get any money. Sigh...it has to be the house we want. :hi:

20. You're welcome.
Just keep yourself away from all the B.S. going on with them. You certainly don't need THAT stress. I'd let the realtor and the real estate lawyer deal with THAT mess, especially if you have your heart set on that house. Good luck, my dear! :hi:

36. Good morning Clint!
Sounds like our weekends were parallel. I too had plans laid out but only did a few, at least on the domestic front, but that's okay. You'll be glad to hear that I finally went to see Brokeback Mountain. I have purposely been avoiding all Brokeback threads until after I've seen the movie. I must admit Clint, it's the best movie I've seen in a long time, and soooooo melancholy. Doest your heart just go out to those two?
