Help me name my new kitty
Here is a pic of the kitty I'm going to pick up from the animal shelter today. She comes with the name "Aria", which I like, but I had been planning to name the new cat "Gypsy". Does she look like a "Gypsy" to you or an "Aria"? Any other suggestions on a good name for her?

1. She could be a Gypsy...or Lucy. She really looks like a Lucy to me.

and, on edit, she has a beautiful, trusting little fuzzy face.

8. accident...
I even took it a few times to see if it'd repeat and it did. I think maybe cause I had all the lamps on, and they're all at different angles and elevations. I dunno.

34. I would keep her name. It suits her
and you will add nicknames for her as you get to know her .. Our cats are all nosy and answer to each other's names..

She reminds me of our "Mommie"

7. I think you should avoid "gypsy" because
it sounds so much like Jessie, and your poor pooch will be confused.

21. Ooops... my bad
I had you confused with someone else. MrsGrumpy has a dog named Jessie. I don't know why I thought you were her. Must have been before my morning caffeine.

13. We already have a dog named Chloe
I can't tell you how many times people have said, "That's my sister's name!" or their mother, aunt, daughter, etc. It's a little embarrassing.

14. what a gorgeous creature
she seems to be very happy. I can see where the St. Nick is coming from and she will do well with Aria of Gypsy. I agree though that with a Jessie already in the home that Gypsy would not be the best. I am thinking that Monica is her name.

15. "Aria" is a good name for a Diva...
She'a a bit too aristocratic to be a Gypsy. (Although Gypsy-cats can be pretty fine.)

Heeeeeeeey! That's my girlfriend's cat! Oh wait, she's got a stray patch of color by her nose (the cat, not my girlfriend) so it isn't her.

Name her something friendly sounding. Alice (my girlfriend) says this type of cat is always easygoing and friendly, which is why she just got a second one. Have fun regardless.

Oh! Just look at that FACE. Definitely an Aria. Or you could name her something similar, if you don't like Aria...like Ariana, or Ariel, or Ariella. Anyone of those would suit her. But I like Aria best.
