Confirmed C.H.U.D.s attack in Kansas
Yeah sure "longspout" sure. This has C.H.U.D.s written ALL over it.

An unusual type of storm hit Newton this weekend.
A ``landspout'' is usually found near the Rocky Mountains. But one apparently hit a car lot in Newton on Saturday, and witnesses described it as a mini-tornado.
Mark Childs is general manager and part owner of the dealership. He said it was about 50 degrees and the sun was out. And then miniature funnel clouds started shattering windows on at least 100 cars and knocked over a light pole.
Harvey County emergency dispatchers say the storm swept through
northeast Newton, prompting at least one report of damaged shingles
but no injuries.
KWCH meteorologist Lindsey Butor says the storm was essentially a waterspout that occurred over land. She likened the funnels to ``huge dust devils'' that normally cause minimal damage.

Whatever it was, Childs said, it spawned what appeared to be miniature funnel clouds that shattered windows on at least 100 cars and knocked over a light pole.

3. I'm not sure what you're talking about vis-a-vis C.H.U.D.s
But these "longspouts" or whatever they're calling them happen with a fair amount of regularity here in Missouri, and they can be damaging. I've been through two, and the second one sucked up some pea-gravel off of a rooftop and slung it through my car window.

And yes, they spring up out of nowhere, on a clear sunny day.

8. Sounds more like a chupacabra to me...
It's unfortunate to see a meteorologist joining in the cover-up.
