DU Lawyers: can we be sued for saying something here?

I'm tossing this out for the lawyers on DU (the real ones). I help mod a "hobby" board. One of the members there has been vocal about a dealer selling falsified items. (It is still up in the air if he is correct or not). The board's mod's have now been threatened with unspecified legal action byt the dealer claiming slander. Are there any gounds to worry? I'd hate to think that we could be sued here by some RW lawyer for "slandering" someone on an internet board, political or non-political, for expressing an opinion...
