Hey, freeps! When you're finished running around crowing like a rooster
Edited on Mon Jan-30-06 09:00 PM by Redstone
with a bee up his butt, just remember one thing:

Alito and bushyboy and that crowd do not give a red rat's ass, nor even a flying fuck at a rolling doughnut, about the likes of you.

You're squatting there, chortling about how "our guys won again," but guess what: If the top repubs in Washington give you bottom-feeders the slightest moment of thought, it's ONLY to chuckle over their filet mignon about how they've sandbagged the stupid gomers yet again, and still the gomers vote for them. Over and over.

They laugh out loud and slap each other on the back in amazement at how they can fuck you over, and over yet again, year after year, and not only do you take it, but you smile and ask "Can I have some more, please, Sir?"

Don't believe me? Wait until bushyboy's new "ownership plan" guts what little dribs of health insurance you can afford, and you have a heart attack, or your kid develops diabetes, or your wife throws a kidney.

Ah, but you, you goobers, you won't remember, will you? No, you'll just reach for the K-Y Jelly, bend over, give 'em that big old toothless grin and beg, just like a good little lap dog, "Please, Sir, can I have some more?"

And you'll deserve what you get. Such is the price of ignorance. I feel sorry for your kids, though.

3. Will the citizens then be united?
I mean, if we're all getting the pipe, will we take back what's ours?

Yeah, I don't like the answer either. I do still have hope, though, and the fight ain't even remotely drained from this man.

If anything, I'm motivated.

Great post, sir.

6. Thanks. Maybe now, people will listen to MidloDem's rant over in GD,
and actually do something. Just one something: If this issue is that important to you, and your Senator didn't have the balls to at least vote No, get your ass out and vote against him or her in the primary.

I generally vote on a straight "kick out the incumbent" ticket (except for our state reps, who are damn good). If more people did that, we might get somewhere.

Everyone should read MidloDem's rant. And act accordingly.

5. Right on, Redstone!
That's exactly what they're doing, and exactly what they're getting from "their guys". It still amazes me that people can be so blind, so stupid, so willing to be f-ed over!

9. So you did't mind it being a bit vicious, I guess.
sometimes you gotta get crude to get your point across.

Thanks for the affirmation-type compliment, CP. Though I'll leave soon tonight and likely not be back tomorrow because I have to get up at the crack o'dawn and drive 250 miles through the predicted snow / ice storm to visit one of my customers and kick their ass about delaying projects too frequently.

Then drive home through the same slop. Good thing Mrs R is letting me use her car; it's all-wheel drive.

Drive safely tomorrow, OK? Please take care of yourself......

I know I've told you this before, but you matter to me, and to so many of us here.....

but most of the other yahoos out on the roads are not. So I'll take a change of clothes, and bail to a hotel at the slightest provocation on the way home in the evening.

And geez, stop making me blush, would you?

11. You're recommending that I cross-post in GD?
Thanks for the suggeston; I think I'll do just that.

That'll make it that much more likely that the freeps will see it.

18. Glad I could make you feel good.
And it always cheers me up to hear someone say "I love you." Especially you, cuz.

I gotta get out of here. Long day tomorrow (details in one of my replies to CP in this thread).

See you back here in a day or three, kiddo. Be well.

16. Hey Freeps? Read this quote!

"Simply put, we want to bring out the wackos to vote against something and make sure the rest of the public lets the whole thing slip past them. The wackos get their information through the Christian right, Christian radio, mail, the internet and telephone trees," - Michael Scanlon, former DeLay Aide and Abramoff Buddy

17. Hell of a quote, there. But we're both wasting our breath.
The ignorance of the freeps is so far beyond anything that we can comprehend, that I'd bet bushyboy could interrupt his State O' the Union speech and say the following:

"And here's a special message to you poor iggerant bastards who were gullible enough to swallow my bullshit and vote for me: Fuck you. Fuck you and your Wal-Mart job. Fuck you and your born-again prayer meetings. Fuck you and your pissant twenty bucks that you gave to my campaign. Eat shit and die, all of you. I hate all you little people and your smelly, snot-nosed rugrats, too."

And you know what? They'd STILL vote for him.

They're utterly hopeless.

"Mocking the ignorant fucks" is one of my very favorite pastimes.

Belonging to DU is fulfilling in the aspect of being part of a community of like-minded and generally wonderful people, but there's nothing like the opportunity it gives you to mock the ignorant fucks in a place where they'll be sure to read your mockery, is there?

Because we know they're out there, just beyond the reach of the porch lights, peering through the knothole in the fence, and cursing the sight of us hanging around, drinking and snacking and laughing with our pals, while they have nothing to look forward to but that lonely trudge home to their parents' basement, and tomorrow's shift at the Jiffy-Mart.
