I'm having faux sausage in a spicy red sauce over penne, with a side of green beans with lemon. :9

You?

1. My dear LeftyMom.....
Monday night is pizza night at our house....the ONE night I don't have to cook!

Which reminds me: I need to shut this baby down, and get downstairs to the phone to call for it!

Your dinner sounds wonderful!

See you later!

3. I made waffles.
I had creamed chicken over half a waffle for supper, and I had syrup on the other half for dessert. Then I ate a banana. I'm thinking about having another banana.

11. Waffles are great comfort food.
And they can take so many toppings. My son sometimes likes his with peanut butter and jam. Sauteed cinnamon apples are good too, or fresh strawberries or blueberries...

Hmmm. Maybe it's time to open the Ziploc bag of leftover waffles. :P

30. There are Chinese dishes made of tofu, with a "smoked" flavor, made
to taste like duck etc., called "mock duck"... very very good if you have it in a good restaurant that knows how to prepare it. The tofu is prepared in fine sheets and layered. Highly recommended. Because of the strong Buddhist influence in parts of China there are many vegetarians... Some places have vegetarian Chinese restaurants that have a lot of dishes like this.

32. I love that kind of stuff
We have one restraunt here in town that does it well, but I always make a point of going to a restraunt in chinatown that does the best mock meats I've ever had whenever I'm in San Francisco.
