I was musing the other day about disasters, and the people I know who've been in them. I just met him once, didn't know him well at all, but still... creepy. :(

16. It is creepy and I imagine it gives you a totally different

perspective of 9/11 than most of us have. All I can do is offer you a cyber hug and tell you that I understand why the A&E program is so distasteful to you. :hug:

18. I think it's less about the fact that I knew someone

and more about the fact that I don't believe the official accounts.

It's reminiscent of the girl at Columbine who said she believed in God? And later it turned out that it didn't even happen?? Trying to fictionalize such an event and turn it into a story of the triumph of the spirit just seems wrong.

That made me puke.

I did watch the First Class takeover sequence anyway, because I am writing a novel, where a secondary character (a transgender woman) works First Class in Flight 93. Those homophobic terrorists kill her first, in my version.

It sickens me to think about my character's death, and the deaths of the real passengers and crew. And to think that W allowed 9/11 to happen to fulfill his fascist plans...
