I tried ... I really tried ... and I just don't 'get' Beck

I even went so far as to dig out my Odelay CD and play it for two days straight while commuting.

I still don't get why he's a 'superstar'

And if even Odelay doesn't appeal to you, I can't imagine what would.

But he's brilliant in a Prince kind of way.


One other point: his live show. The guy can entertain in a huge way; not very many others in Beck's generation and genre go on stage to have and a give a good time enjoying themselves.
