Have you ever known a polite, well-mannered mouse?
I have one here at my shop; he's almost tame, after our long acquaintance (almost 6 months now). Any way, he comes out on a semi-regular basis several times a day and waits very patiently for me to feed him a bit of whatever I have handy; to be honest, I actually bring stuff with me TO feed him.

He's never aggressive, and he never 'helps himself', as far as i've ever seen. Is he 'one of a kind', or does he just know I will feed him, and isn't insecure about food?

2. we have one
that lives in our pantry. We keep stuff in old coffee cans so he can't get in. He's os used to us, he just watches as we come and go. The border collies ignores him/her. Sounds like they've cut some kind of deal.

3. Good for you..
..I'm quite fond of little furry things.
I used to have 5 Rats that were a riot!

3 of them would chase the dog all over the place....then the dog and rats
would rest (together) for awhile and start all over again.
People used to say "that's the damnest thing I've ever seen!"

7. Icame across one in my house, once
he was calmly munching out on the garbage, and looked up at me as if to say "dig in, big guy - there's plenty for both of us"
I picked him up by the tail and transported him back outside.

9. I'm sure the little rodents are building a nest in my old Jeep as
we speak. Happens every year. Right in the air intake.....seeds and nest stuff.

10. Awwwwwwww!
I had mice in my garage where I store bird seed, I pretty much reasoned that if they had a food source there they would stay out of the house. Boy was I wrong. Unbeknownst to me, the little uninvited critters had infiltrated my basement, I had mistakenly left about 300 pounds of various food items there which was intended for a food pantry. What a mess! I didn't discover their intrusion until about 4:00 in the morning one day when my house alarm went off, nearly scared me half to death. Apparently mice like to chew on alarm wires. Needless to say, I was forced to address the problem. I still feel guilty about it but what else could I do?
