So, get this - my friend's parents were at the airport

And they were in the terminal waiting for their plane to board. They walked past one of those booths where they try to get you to sign up for reward cards and shit. These two are old and originally from Portugal, their English is very poor despite being in Canada for 30 years.
Anyway, the woman behind the desk tries to tell them they can't get on their flight unless they have an Air Canada frequent flyer card. Needless to say, they were confused because they were already through security and what not.
But, still they were concerned. Thankfully another Air Canada employee overheard and told them the woman was trying to scam them. He then proceeded to give her shit. I hope she was fired after that...
Yet another reason to hate Air Canada.

1. That was unethical and rude, I hope she was reported.

2. Holy shit!
Sad to believe, but even Canada has some dickwads.

That's totally inexcusable and awful.

3. I doubt she was working for Air Canada
She was most likely shilling for a credit cared company that was promoting a credit card that featured AeroPlan points.

That said, Air Canada should be notified of their tactics. Inexcusable.
