Poor pitiful me.

Don’t your feet get cold in the winter time?
The sky won’t snow and the sun won’t shine
It’s hard to tell the night time from the day
You’re loosin’ all your highs and lows
Ain’t it funny how the feeling goes away?

Poor pitiful me.

1. You are neither poor nor pitiful, my dear Ptah.......
That was very clever, what you did with the link......

I have NO idea how you did it!

13. Thank you, my dear hfojvt!
I have clicked on those tables, and I still can't make head nor tail of them!

I'll have to be on the phone with someone who knows how, and have them explain how to do it, step by step, before I get it.....

I appreciate your efforts, however!

7. Those lyrics are from "Desperado." Not from "Poor Poor Pitiful Me."
Just thought you'd like to know.

9. Though if what you're after is a shoulder and a bit of sympathy,
I got both for you if you need them. You're going through a rough patch lately, yes?

8. You better let somebody love you
before it's tooooooooo late

You've been out riding fences
for so long now.

Is that true? Maybe tomorrow?
I could say the same thing.
I was born to be blue.
I've been cheated
been mistreated
when will I-hi
be loved?

12. Now you're mixing "Desperado" and "When will I be loved," neither of which
are "Poor, Poor, Pitiful Me."

Sorry, I used to be a musician, I can't help it.

16. Well, who the hell else am I going to be? Porofirio Rubirosa?
(That's not really a hostile response. Just an old line of mine, from an essay that crucified the song "I've gotta be me.")

I'm finally winding down from being so wound up from taking those two trips today in the dreadful winter weather. They were surprisingly not too bad, because the snowstorms seem to have kept a lot of people at home.

But it's still tense driving, and takes me some hours to loosen up from.

Think I have now, and will bid you good night, CP.

Lord have mercy on me.

There. How's that?
I threw in "Born to be blue" by Wynonna Judd but I guess you did not notice that, Mr. Smarty-Pants. :P

19. Well, I laid my head on the railroad track, waitin' on the Double E
But the train don't come 'round here no more
Poor poor pitiful me

Poor poor pitiful me
Poor poor pitiful me
All these boys won't let me be
Lord have mercy on me
Woe is me

Well, I met a man out in Hollywood
Now I ain't namin' names
But he really worked me over good
Just like Jesse James
Yeah, he really worked me over good
He was a credit to his gender
Put me through some changes, Lord
Sort of like a Waring blender

And that's all I can remember from memory, one of my favorite songs!
