1. Paris Hilton
Some might quibble with the "c list" designation, but I predict she'll soon qualify(as well she should),if she isn't already there.

What is her claim to fame besides her father and being Paris's partner in stupidity?

19. I agree. Paris Hilton.
Why is the press always shoving her down our collective throats? Notice that she's never on the cover of magazines anymore but all over the inside. She must be filler these days.

lovelife and numerous escapades.

4. That explains it. I never saw Cheers. I never saw Seinfeld either.
Well, somebody made me watch it recently when I was visiting them (it wasn't that funny), and of course many people have recited Seinfeld episodes to me because they've been concerned over my lack of enlightenment, but I don't watch sitcoms on TV.

5. I liked Cheers in the beginning.
later on I got bored w/ it.
BTW-one of the best Cliff episodes is where Cliff competes on Jeopardy. Cliff is that guy that everyone knows who memorizes BS facts about everything(or just makes them up as he goes along). Anyway, Cliff is cleaning up on the show-has the highest one day total ever. Final Jeopardy question is about what these three famous people have in common. Cliff blows it w/ his answer "Who are three people who have never been in my kitchen?"
It's a line that my friends and I often use when we don't know the answer to a question.

7. In that episode, remember "Cliff's Dream Board" on Jeopardy?
The categories were Civil Servants, Stamps from Around the World, Mothers and Sons, Beer, Bar Trivia, and Celibacy.

17. It's pretty funny. People always have to tell me the whole episode
of whatever show I haven't watched.

This is not to criticize, but it is amazing: I say "I never saw..." and everybody does exactly that, "You shouda seen the epidosde where ."

My wife says I'm a snob and I guess I am, but I don't get it.

Most people have thought of at least one smart-assed question to Alex's answers. Cliff just answered it perfectly.

24. Thank you for telling me about it.
The line was witty, but I'm still not going to take up television viewing again. The last sitcom that I saw with any regularity was M*A*S*H, I think. I don't feel like I missed all that much.

I always remember that one from Cheers when he was talking to a mail man from another office in Boston... "your name has become something of a symbol around our office"

Cliff (puffs his chest out)

other mailman, "sure, like 'get your head out of your clavin!'"

I have never seen an interview with her where she didn't bring up the fact that she used to be the "World's Best Supermodel" (tm) at least one time. And this is during interviews about topics that had absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with her past career as the World's Best Supermodel. I used to be embarrassed and feel sorry for her that she has so little in her life nowadays that she has to keep bringing up her glory days. But now, after the 30th time of hearing about her past career as the World's Best Supermodel, I have come to realize that the woman is just totally self-obsessed and truly doesn't realize that nobody cares anymore.
