OK folks, here is our wedge issue for 2004: |
|
the party that we all must fight (Republicans and Democrats alike) is the party utterly destroying our Constitution and democracy as well as our standard of living for our children and grandchildren. It is a new party with vile international and domestic agenda and it is headed by Dick Cheney and George W. Bush. That party is: the "Corporcratic" party made of or "corporcrats," mostly neocons who control both wealth and the media in this country.
OK just follow my lead and take it anywhere you want to go.

We could change the ending of Republican the same way they changed Democratic to Democrat.

2. Except that not all Republicans support Bush. |
|
I say give the Bush cabal a name that really describes who they are.

3. I've talked to many Republicans |
|
who are alarmed with what Bush is doing, and don't plan to vote for him.

5. Corporcrats. Democrats. |
|
It's hard to pronounce and it sounds too much like "Democrats".
Sorry.
How 'bout "Cheap Labor Conservatives"?

Kinda close to copropublicans (as in feces?)
I prefer necropublicans...they won't quit trying to screw us until long after we're dead.

The Republicans cook one up just about every election cycle. So, here's one that will split their base: Unprecedented growth of government and mismanagement of the budget. "Pork" is too polite a word for their payouts. It's massive kickbacks for political and financial support. Even Goldman Sachs has called the budget "out of control" while many other experts feel insolvency could be as little as ten years away. Bush and DeLay are the twin bagmen.
Enough true conservatives are still out there to cause dissention and anger in the ranks if it's made into an issue.

10. We already have a wedge issue |
|
And it's one the Republicans fear like their Daddy's belt:
The Environment
Read RFK Jr's piece in the Rolling Stone this week.
