philosophie_en_rose mentioned (post #3, I think) - is it more beneficial to operate a store, "fee-wise", than to list items one by one? The first month for a 'regular' (nonfeatured store) is free, then it's $15.95 a month... plus the usual listing fees, I guess. But it seems that having a store might make it easier to distinguish your stuff amongst the brazillions of items for sale.

Has it been worth her while (looks like a fair amount of effort goes into setting it up - colors, logo, etc.)?

Does she sell her own products and items, or does she resell miscellaneous stuff, or ____ ?

Anything she might have to offer would be interesting -- I'm just looking for independent (non-eBay) feedback.

Many thanks!

(edited to add a few left out words..)

3. I don't have a store, but be careful of the fees.
Be sure that you're getting your costs back. Ebay nickel and dimes its sellers. Usually not that bad, but I can imagine if you have to relist things in a store that it could be.

7. Misread again maybe.
I thought you meant a physical store. With the fees involved in selling, I have found that it makes more sense to buy from eBay and sell locally. I was thinking about looking into the fees involved for an actual physical eBay store, where people bring you there stuff and you sell it for them. I was wondering if this would allow you to sell stuff out of the store for say the "Buy it Now" price. Not accord to the 40-Year-Old Virgin, but that's only Hollywood talkin'.
