So Lost was on repeat AGAIN last night
That's it - I'm giving up on regular network television. You get excited about a show and they give you like 2-3 new episodes in a row and then I have to wait fricking 5-6 weeks for a new episode because of something so stupid as "sweeps". At least when I watch on HBO I get all my episodes week after week with maybe a 1 week skip during the set.

Last year they released the season #1 DVD for both Lost and Desparate Housewives right before the start of the new season. I'll just wait until for season #2 to come out on DVD and rent them then to watch.

BTW, this is why Reality TV is gaining in popularity. Ever notice how they always show all those episodes all right in a row? This is what the TV viewing public wants!

1. Tell me about it. And I just read the Commander in Chief is going on a
6 week haitus, so they can introduce some other stupid show, and that, when it comes back...there will be only four more episodes until the season ends. I'm pissed. Why get us hooked?

2. It is a brilliant marketing scheme
To get everyone to buy the DVDs when they come out.

4. Only thing I would allow myself to buy was Sex and the City
I figured I could go ape-shit buying these DVDs if I allowed myself but SATC was my alltime favorite gal (probably because I was always the same age as Carrie when they originally aired) so I treated myself to that one gift.

So the best ABC could do is me renting the DVDs from my local blockbuster.

5. I heard that Commander in Chief was a "Troubled series"
I have no idea what that means-I've never watched it but I hear good things- but I heard that on CNN or the local TV station. Just a heads up

6. I will be so VERY PISSED!!!!
:( it's a great show and Geena Davis just won a Damned Globe for it.

Donald Sutherland is awesome playing a Bastard Speaker of the House...with a soft side when it comes to his wife and the Pres' mom.

You will not believe how upset I will get....:grr: :hi:
