33. he is a very good boy....
He is never, ever mean or grumpy...I really don't think he has the ability to be that way...he is so happy he doesn't even care when we correct him.

I really have never met another dog like him to tell you the truth, and I'm not just saying that because he's my son and I'll prove it....

I'll tell you that my other beagle, Annie, is a spoiled brat and can be very grumpy (mostly towards Gus)...although she is very sweet in her own way and isn't mean or anything, just what we call "bitchy"! I have to cut her some slack though, she had the run of the house for 2 years before we got Gus and he does torment her by constantly trying to play.

"Dig!" was an interesting movie, but I cannot stand either the BJM or the Dandy Warhols. Is it THAT hard to find a capable vocalist these days?

The more I watch it, the more I begin to think that Dig! is as much staged as Incident at Loch Ness.

I said to Jesus-

Hello, hello, I'm Johnny Cash!

Funny how a country/gospel/acid house band from England does country music so well.

24. My Funny Valentine
It's been my favorite song for years. I love the lyrics. I especially like Elvis Costello's version.

Julie

My funny Valentine
Sweet comic Valentine
You make me smile with my heart
Your looks are laughable
Unphotographable
Yet you're my favorite work of art

Is your figure less than Greek
Is your mouth a little weak
When you open it to speak
Are you smart?

But don't change a hair for me
Not if you care for me
Stay little Valentine stay
Each day is Valentine's day

53. Sweet Forgiveness
by Shannon McNally

http://www.shannonmcnally.com/index.php?page=songs&display=154

The news blows cold in my veins
everyday I wake to more of the same
the garden don't grow
cause greed never gets old.

And my weapon of choice
has a lonely voice
it's lost in the brambles and buried in the noise
but I hear it still, faint, but steady calling.

So forgive my love, forgive my broken heart
was anything ever so hard
i'm angry to the bone
feeling all alone, sweet forgiveness

Forgiving my love doesn't make them right
for taking what was ours and wounding the light
but it all comes back around in many unseen ways
they get theirs, they get theirs, they get theirs

may we never seek revenge
may that bill never be paid
if this ache in our hearts is ever to go away
we only feed their greed by carrying that rage.

so forgive my love, forgive my broken heart
forgive my love, was anything ever so hard
i'm angry to the bone
feeling all alone, sweet forgiveness

Sweet forgiveness, sweet forgiveness
may this melody reveal
and help me to heal with forgiveness

CauseI don't want a life that's soft and high
if it means that others must suffer and die
for my comfort
cause I just don't know how to shut my eyes, shut my eyes, shut my eyes

so forgive my love, forgive my broken heart
forgive my love, was anything ever so hard
i'm angry to the bone
feeling all alone, sweet forgiveness

sweet forgiveness
sweet forgiveness
may this melody reveal
and help me to heal with forgiveness

62. Big Ted...Incredible String Band
Big ted's dead , he was a great old pig
He'd eat most anything, never wore a wig
Now he's gone like snow on the water , good bye

He was getting old so the farmer said
"sold him to the butcher just to make a little bread"
Now he's gone like snow on the water, don't cry

Ted may be a moo cow next time around
Giving sweet milk to the people in the town
He'll be whatever he will choose on air or sea or ground

The sows are busy with the piglets fine
I'd put them in the forest now if they were mine
Cause I know they like acorns and I don't like bacon

Boochy, boochy, boochy, boochy, boochy, boochy, boochy
Squidly, squidly, squidly, squidly, squidly, squidly, squidly
Boochy, boochy, boochy, boochy, boochy, boochy, boochy, boochy
Sham sham sharoo, oh sham sham sharoo
Big ted's sold and gone

He never cared to do the boogaloo dance
All he ever thought about was food and romance
Now he's gone like snow on the water, good bye

The sows are busy with the piglets fine
I'd put them in the forest now if they were mine
Cause I know they like acorns and I don't like bacon

Boochy, boochy, boochy, boochy, boochy, boochy, boochy
Squidly, squidly, squidly, squidly, squidly, squidly, squidly
Boochy, boochy, boochy, boochy, boochy, boochy, boochy, boochy
Sham sham sharoo, oh sham sham sharoo
