21. Well, they're not really affecting me

I'm staying away from downtown. The airport on Monday might be a different story, though. Between the revelers leaving and anyone going to Coretta Scott King's funeral in Atlanta (where I have to go, but not for that reason), the airport will be a zoo. I'm getting there three hours before my flight just to make sure I have time to check my bag and get through security.

I can't wait until the weekend is over. And then I go to Atlanta for three days. In a way, though, I'm glad it's here. It looks like it's going to be good for the city, if only they can keep it clean and keep up the improvements they've started after everyone leaves. I sort of want to go downtown to see everything, but I know we won't. If I were going to any of the parties or anything maybe I'd feel more a part of it, but right now it's just a lot of hype to me.
