Can someone help me identify where a certain phrase comes from?

I've heard people say it for a few years, and am fascinated by whence it may have originated.

The phrase: "F*ck 'em and feed 'em fishheads."

No matter where it came from, it's quite satisfying to say.

Any thoughts?

I remember hearing some ex-POWs mention that fishheads and rice was a frequent menu item in the Japanese camps.
