have you ever heard of "ear-planes"? they're basically specialized ear plugs that help to equalize the pressure in your ear drums when you fly. They can be bought at any drug store. I use them all the time when I fly b/c my ears are incredibly sensitive to pressure changes. Check 'em out, if you haven't heard of 'em. Maybe they'll help.

between them and a good de-congestant, you'll be set.

11. Use a neti pot - that will help a lot.

Not so much a cure, but it will sure keep the passages clean and moist and will remove a lot of gunk from the sinus cavity and the nose, and the light salt bath just might help some of the healing. When I'm sick, I use the neti pot a number of times a day.

16. 1 part rubbing alcohol, 7 parts saline

Yeah, it'll burn a bit, but put that combo in an "Afrin type" dispenser, and one squirt in each side will have you good in a few days.

And yes, I got that from a doctor.
