Things from the past I REALLY miss.
Walking barefoot on hot summer roads.
Sky King.
Mr. Moose.
Climbing "my" tree.
The General Store down at the corner.
Miss Peggy (my third grade teacher).
Hanging out under the bridge with the other delinquents.
Lying back on the grass at night and seeing the universe above me.
Pal (my faithful dog).
The veggie garden at the back of our property. (Ever eat a fresh-picked strawberry?)
Karen Carpenter.
The Indian Head test pattern on TV in the morning.
Buffalo Bob.
The Dead End Kids movies.
The ORIGINAL Johnny Quest.
Jackie Wilson (My best friend. He lived next door.).
The A&W Root Beer stand in town.
Endless summer days piled one upon the next.
The old tractor tire turned into a sandbox.
Stringing freshly popped popcorn for the Christmas tree.
The smell and feel of sheets freshly laundered and dried outside under the sun.
My grandma's cherry orchard.
My brother.

Childhood.

5. Did you're local high school still have out houses in those days?
Where that organic aroma raced across the football field every Friday afternoon for the big game, that drew every fly in the county? Yeah, those were the good old day.
