Poll question: Whould I call 'im back?
Been 2 weeks since I saw this guy. Upfront he said he was not interested in a relationship. At the time, I did not care.

He called back 2 days ago, asking why I've not called him back yet.

We've nothing in common. The dates have been as empty as I am.

1. he may not be Mr. Right but, at least he's Mr. Right Now...
which is better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick...

2. Just common courtesy to call him back.
Sounds as though he waited a while, and has only called once. As long as he's not weird or stalkery, a final phone call could settle it politely.

Courtesy should rule, IMO, unless you have concerns for your safety.

4. Do unto others what others have never done unto me.
It is the right thing to do. Even if it is a dying breed, the courteous.

3. See this is what I was talking about last night
there is no way this is unintentional humor right? So, that means you DO have a sense of humor

Now you just need to focus it on something that isn't so dark that even Batman finds it too bleak and dour to brood over all day :)

Neurotic can be funny, trust or at least I know girls who think my neurosiseses are amusing anyway ;)

6. I called him back...
He was glad I had.

He was concerned.

I told him the truth. This did not scare him off, oddly.

We will be seeing each other again next Friday.

I am looking forward to it.

Now if only I can find a single woman who has as much attraction for me as I do to her just so I can know for real which gender I prefer and get on with what's left of my life... (On an emotional scale, I am infinitely more comfortable around women. But I must be honest with myself completely or there is no point.)

7. My advice? Be here now.
Now you have a date. Don't worry about having another one to compare it to! Just see if you enjoy the one you have.

8. Something to live for, anyway.
Another week to squidge by...

Still, I'd rather resolve my curiosity. If my death is near, I do not want any mysteries to go out on. (I'm hoping to prolong the worst; exercise to date has helped... but I've got a long ways to go, I cannot go slow due to my deconditioned state, and there is such as thing as "too little too late".)
