Poll question: Nature's perfect food?
Edited on Fri Feb-03-06 11:41 AM by undisclosedlocation
Earlier when I suggested in a thread that frosted strawberry pop-tarts were nature's perfect food, a number of helpful people pointed out that there's little natural about pop-tarts, etc, etc. For them, I just want to mention that this is one of those joke things; maybe you've heard about those. Certain apostates remarked on that thread that other flavors of pop-tarts are in fact nature's perfect food and some actually thought that frosted pop-tarts are too sweet. Imagine! Regardless, I'm leaving the flavor of the frosted pop-tarts open for you brown sugar and cinnamon heretics. Go to town.

1. Or not...
In the absence of further nominations, I'll try to come up with some additional silly suggestions before the time runs out

10. Chili _cheese_ dogs!
Coupled with a cherry Slurpee, you've got all your basic food groups covered! I can't wait until Dairy Queen or Sonic come to this tiny developing nation that values universal health care more than fast, fatty and yummy foods.

13. Have you ever had a chili cheese dog PLUS sauerkraut?
I thought it would be revolting the first time I heard of it, but it works very well.

If you're ever in the area, stop by and I'll make some for you and CMW. Bring napkins!

21. I can think of few DUers I'd rather eat a chili cheese dog
with sauerkraut with than you (and Mrs. Redstone, whom I'd _love_ to meet). :pals:

If it weren't for this country's godforsaken neglect of staple foods like hotdog buns, I could make my own chili cheese dogs with sauerkraut. But, like I said, it's a small, developing nation.

P.S. May I PM you with a link to a photographer whose work I love? She's doing very "painterly" photography and I think it's the blue light on her subjects that entrances me, but I'd like some tips on how to reproduce this quality in my portraiture.

23. Other: Pizza!
You get the bread group (the crust), the vegetable group (the toppings and the sauce), the dairy group (the cheese), and the protein group (meat toppings) all on one food!
