The Noise and the City
I've had this for a while, but I was talking to someone about it and thought, meh, why not share.

Through the platform that is net label Autres Directions In Music, we suggested musicians from all over the world to revisit their daily environment (urban and sound) : record sounds inside their city, then reprocess the material as much as they like (without adding any kind of rhythm or music), in order to compose a personal piece that should also remind of their original discography.

This album is amazing. The tracks range from pretty to surreal to alarming. When I first got my hands on this (right after it came out) I couldn't stop listening to it, a few tracks in particular, over and over. I love this kind of stuff, it pushes my buttons. I can't really explain it.
Hopefully at least one of you gets something outta this. It's amazing. The website also has free downloads of some bands other works. Propergol y colargol is fantastic.
