Friend w/ Mac having problems streaming AAR. Advice? |
|
I don't have the whole story yet, but he sez he tried to put Windows Media Player for Mac on a laptop but the install program will not launch. I suggested Real, but is there a version of Real for Macs? What else works?
Been a few years since I worked with Macs, and so I'm not hip on what works and what does not.
TIA!

1. He needs to use Safari or Firefox |
|
It is nearly impossible to stream anything on a Mac with IE.

2. There's a Windows Media Player version and a RealMedia version |
|
I think there's a WMP version for the Mac (ironically, the largest Mac development shop outside of Apple is Microsoft), but barring that, I'm sure there is some kind of program available for decoding RealMedia, even if Real doesn't make a Mac version of its software.
